Searching Chats and Chat Participants

What is the Search for?

Search allows you to quickly find the right discussion and chat participant.

How to Find a Сhat?

Go to the Messages section and find the chats in the area on the left.

Using Search with Ordinary Chats

  1. Click Search chats at the top right or type Ctrl + K.
  2. In the window that opens, select Recent, My team or External.
  3. Select the chat manually or after typing the name in the search bar.
  4. Set the Search in archive flag if you think the chat is in the Archive.

Using Search in Mini Chats

  1. Go to mini chats.
  2. In the open window use Search.

Manually

  1. Select the Internal (Recent, My team) or External (Recent, External chats, Chatbots) tab.
  2. In the list that opens, find the chat and select it.

Using Favourites

  1. Find the chat in the area on the left in the Internal (Recent, My team) or External (Recent, External chats, Chatbots) tab.
  2. Click the chat icon to add it to your Favorites.

Chats added to Favorites appear at the top of the list.

Click the icon again to remove the chat from Favorites.

How to Find a Chat Participant?

  • If you have recently communicated with a user, then find the person in the Recent chats.
  • If you have not communicated with the user, find him through the Search, as in chats.
  • If the search is useless, check whether the right tab is opened: Internal or External.

Employees can also find a chat participant among the workspace employees:

  1. open the list of workspaces at the top left;
  2. click i next to the desired workspace;
  3. in the window that opens, find your employee:
  4. via the Search box at the top right;
  5. through tabs with groups of employees.
  6. click the Message icon next to the employee.

How to Write to an Employee not From the Messages Section?

Use Brief Information About an Employee

  1. Click on an employee avatar.
  2. In the window with a brief information about the employee, click Write.
